PlaceMakers operates a real OAuth 2.0 REST API at portal-serviceapi.fbnzd.co.nz — the single most significant finding in this research. NextMinute already uses it for live trade pricing and PO placement. Buildxact's NZ supplier moat is Mitre 10 only; PlaceMakers is uncontested.

Sprint 1 procurement integration scope

  • PlaceMakers API — negotiate partner access via knowme.fbnzd.co.nz, then implement OAuth token exchange, live trade pricing, and PO send.
  • Xero invoice ingest— read Carters and Mitre 10 purchase bills from the builder's existing Xero connection (Xero Enterprise Connect). Zero supplier-side negotiation.
